One of the Classic Italian lemons. Brought to California from Genoa Italy in the Mid 1870s. Very similar to the Eureka lemon. The trees habit is what makes it attractive to the home garden. Genoa is a vigorous growing with dense compact canopy that is easy to maintain below 10 feet. This great lemon selection also appears to be a bit colder hardy, making it a great choice in Zones 8b and 9a.
